Yes! Freewheel Bicycle Collective won a Campus Life Award for best collaborative programming. The Liberate-Reuse-Recycle program is a collaboration with Campus Facilities and Services, University Police, and Campus Recycling. So we thank all the volunteers in Freewheel as well as the groups with which we have collaborated to make this new program an award-winning success!

This is now the third year that Freewheel Bicycle Collective’s has won a Campus Life Award in the three years that the Collective has been operated as a student club. I want to especially thank the officers of Freewheel, past and present, for making this a reality:

J. Matt Hoch, President

Chris Noto, Treasurer

Pat Lyons, Secretary

Chris Jensen, past officer

(sorry if I have forgotten anyone!)

And a big thank you to our faculty sponsor, George Hart!

Final thanks go the Graduate Student Organization for providing special funding for Freewheel!

Let’s make next year another award-winning year by expanding on reach and improving the quality of our programs and services even more!

Adam, Vice President and Coordinator
